Ofsted inspects schools in England to make sure they’re providing a good education. For primary schools, they look at how well teachers support children’s learning, the school’s leadership, and how happy and well-behaved the students are. After an inspection, schools receive a report with a rating: Outstanding, Good, Requires Improvement, or Inadequate. This report is shared publicly and helps parents understand how well a school is doing. It can also highlight areas where the school needs to improve. The aim is to ensure all schools provide a safe, supportive environment where children can thrive and succeed.
